No purchase or payment necessary to enter or win. Many will enter: Only one will win. Void where prohibited.
SPONSOR: Gold Beach Promotions, 94080 Shirley Lane, PO Box 375, Gold Beach, OR 97444. ADMINISTRATOR: The Gold Beach Chamber of Commerce, 29692 Ellensburg Ave, PO Box 489, Gold Beach, OR 97444, a non-profit organization whose decisions are final and binding with respect to the sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”). PRIZE: The Sweepstakes winner will receive the Prize described in this section. The Prize is Gold valued at $10,000 US at the time the contest begins. State, federal and local taxes, including income taxes, are solely the responsibility of the Winner. Sponsor will furnish to the IRS any required tax reporting forms relating to the award of the Prize. Winner will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the value of the Prize. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with the value of $10,000. ELIGIBILITY: As of the date of entry, participants must be legal residents of the United States (excluding residents of Puerto Rico, and Guam), and at least 18 years old. Employees, staff, and board members of the participating lodging establishments, the Gold Beach Promotions Committee, the City of Gold Beach, the Gold Beach Chamber of Commerce and their immediate family members are not eligible to win. No person is eligible to win in circumstances where this sweepstakes or their ability to participate in it are prohibited by law, rule or regulation. ENTRY: Participants may enter the Sweepstakes in (1) one of (2) two ways during the period commencing at 12:01 A.M. September 1, 2009, and ending at 11:59 P.M., September 1, 2010. For purposes of these Official Rules (“Rules”), all times and days are Pacific Time. Participants may enter the Sweepstakes by: (a) Completing an Official Entry Form at one of the participating lodging establishments upon check-in. One entry per room, per stay; or
(b) By sending a 3 X 5 index card with their name, address, phone number and email address (if applicable) to the Gold Beach Chamber of Commerce, “Stay in Gold Beach and Win $10,000 in Gold” Sweepstakes, PO Box 375, Gold Beach, OR 97444. Mail-in entries are limited to one per household address. Additional entries will not be included in the drawing.
(c)All entries must be received by the Gold Beach Chamber of Commerce by September 1, 11:59 P.M. Entries which are illegible or damaged will not be considered. Sponsor nor Administrator are not responsible for late, lost, damaged, incomplete or illegible entries.
SELECTION OF WINNER: Subject to the eligibility requirements in the Official Rules, the winner will be selected by a random drawing on September 11, 2010. Sponsor will notify the winner by both certified and regular mail. Receipt of the prize is conditioned on winner signing an Affidavit of Eligibility & Release supplied by the Gold Beach Chamber of Commerce, which, among other things, releases the Sponsor, the City of Gold Beach , its agents, council or employees and the Administrator and their members, staff and board from all liability related to this Sweepstakes and Prize. Winner must return the signed Affidavit and Release within 14 days of receipt of the certified letter notifying winner of the prize and no event later than sixty (60) days from the date the notification was sent by regular mail. If Winner fails to timely sign and return the required Affidavit and Release or fails to meet any eligibility requirement, an alternate winner will be chosen by random drawing, to be held as soon as reasonably practicable. Alternate winner is subject to all eligibility requirements and restrictions of these Official Rules and must also timely complete and return the Affidavit of Eligibility and Release. Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received. To receive the name of the Sweepstakes Winner, interested parties may send a request with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Gold Beach Promotions, Attn: Sweepstakes Winner, PO Box 375, Gold Beach, OR 97444. MISCELLANEOUS: By entering this Sweepstakes, Participants grant the Sponsor the right to use their names, pictures and likenesses, without compensation, for the purpose of advertising and publicizing the services of the Sponsor and all matters related to the Sweepstakes in any medium, throughout the world in perpetuity, except to the extent prohibited by law. Sponsor may change these rules at any time, and Participant agrees to be subject to any revisions to the rules. In any printed advertising and the sweepstakes entry form, Oregon law requires that the following be “clearly and conspicuously” disclosed:

See www.goldbeach.org for complete sweepstakes rules.” In any TV or radio advertisement, the following statement must be made:
